How Much Does Alli Cost?

$638.30 per year $69.95 for 40 day supply (3 capsules daily)

How to Use:

The recommended dose of Alli is one capsule (60 mg orlistat) three times a day with meals containing fat.

Additionally, to ensure adequate vitamin absorption you should take a multivitamin containing fat soluble vitamins (vitamins A, D, E, K & beta carotene) once a day, at bedtime; alli® may reduce the absorption of fat soluble vitamins.

Side Effects:

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a revised label for Xenical to include new safety information about cases of severe liver injury that have been reported rarely with the use of this medication. The agency is also adding a new warning about rare reports of severe liver injury to the OTC Drug Facts label for Alli and is working with the manufacturer to ensure that consumers can understand this new warning.

At this time, a cause and effect relationship of severe liver injury with orlistat use has not been established. Because of the seriousness of severe liver injury, FDA has added information about reported cases of severe liver injury to the label of Xenical and Alli to educate the public about the signs and symptoms of liver injury and the need to see a physician promptly should they occur. The agency is also working with the manufacturer of Alli to ensure that consumers can understand this new warning.

If you do purchase Alli, make sure it is not fake or counterfeit. Alli is easily recognized, sold as a turquoise capsule with a darker blue ring imprinted with the words '60 Orlistat.'

Active Ingredients:

Orlistat (60mg): A weaker version of the prescription drug Xenical

Orlistat is notorious for its gastrointestinal side effects (sometimes referred to as treatment effects ), which can include steatorrhea (oily, loose stools).  Source: wikipedia/orlistat

Results:

78.8% of Alli users reported no significant weight loss.

According to Donald D. Hensrud, M.D., a preventive medicine and nutrition specialist at Mayo Clinic,

"Alli may help you lose weight, but the weight loss will likely be modest — perhaps just a few pounds more than you would lose with diet and exercise alone."

Does it Work?

Only 11.3% of Alli users reported at least 5 pounds (2.3 KG) of weight loss after 1 year of use.

it's not good as it used to be

I used Alli when it hit the market in 2015. I'm echoing the sentiments of the REAL reviewers on here, since many of the 5 star ones are so blatantly FAKE. This formula is not the same. One cheat after taking the OLD FORMULA, be it a slice of pizza, a bowl of ice cream, or even a fried chicken wing would leave you paying the consequences on the toilet or in your own underwear through the passing of gas. Funky orange unabsorbed oil everywhere. With this formula, there is no fat being eliminated after consuming fatty foods. I've tried it and even doubled up on these pills with no "treatment effects". So, if the formula is supposedly the same, where is the excess fat going, GSK? Is it staying in my body? That can't be good. I'm writing GSK and demanding a refund. With only 5 pounds to reach my goal now, there's no way I'm chancing this snake oil formula. If you're in a bind and desperate to shed weight quickly, your best bet is HCG and light weigh

    Disappointed!

I was happy to see this back on the market but after I started taking it I was extremely disappointed. Definitely not the same formula as before and did not see any results. I agree with the other serious reviewers on here and I hate that I paid so much for a product that does absolutely NOTHING. I’m now taking a garcinia product from naturabest.net and I have lost weight and my appetite has reduced considerably. I would recommend you to try it and get a product that actually works.

    it does work

If I take 1 pill I don’t really see any effects. If I take 2 capsule then i see a little weight loss, BUT! I get an oil discharge 50% of the time which usually messes up your clothes. So it does work, it’s just not as effective as the original because of the dosing instructions.

The ingredients are different. I have been buying Alli on and off since they have been on the market and the company changed something in the formula . Because of the cost and not being happy with the new product I won't be buying again

Alli makes you poop your pants

The purpose of this pill is to keep your body from absorbing a certain amount of fat from your food. The problem with this is that you need to wear an adult diaper to prevent any accidents from happening. Or just avoid fat in your diet altogether. Not a fun time.

    Too much gas/bowel movements

Purchased mine from Walgreens, read the reviews which say the brand now works nothing like it did before. Wanted to test it out so I had McDonalds, a chocolate shake & another time chicken and.... nothing! That "reaction" of oily gas/bowel movements I was warned about from the pharmacy when I purchased it never happened! So I returned it. If that greasy food couldn't get a reaction I'm sure it doesn't work like the original 2007 version. !UPDATE: I only took 2 Alli pills, the oily bowel movements/gas started 2 days later and lasted for 4 days! I guess it does work but I can't imagine how bad it would be if I took it daily as directed!

    NO significant effect

I used this product regularly in the years just before it went off the market, became expert at dealing with "treatment effects," and so took such precautions as careful timing dosage adjustments to avoid trouble. Also a change of underwear in my desk at work. I was familiar with reviews proclaiming that the product as reintroduced in recent years was not the same, and not as effective, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt and have ordered and used several batches. I have been taking them three or four at a time lately, and even so I see only minimal and occasion evidence (in the bathroom) of any effectiveness. I recently started a weekend by taking four of them along with a large piece of butter-cream cake (about a triple portion), and noticed NO significant effect. In earlier days I would have been fairly guaranteed some long, messy periods on the toilet, at best. I have to agree that the current product is at best seriously diluted, at worst inconsistent from pill to pill. I used

    Didn't worked for me!

It's like everyone has been saying, there's something different about this Alli. It bears no resemblance to what it used to be. Before I bought this, I read all the reviews about how this "new" Alli doesn't work and how it's not the same formula. Review after review reiterated the same thing, but I really wanted to give it a try. I couldn't imagine how different this Alli could be, so much so that almost everyone reviewer who bought the newly reintroduced alli said something wasn't right. Well, they were right and I got duped!
